Travelling can sometimes be a hectic experience, especially if you've had a long flight, your flight is delayed, or you have a long layover.
Credit cards that offer free access to airport lounges often come with a wide range of other benefits.
Accessing airport lounges in India and abroad is easy.
Just visit the lounge at the airport you're flying from and present your credit card and boarding pass. You may have to pay a small reimbursable pre-authorisation charge. Once your boarding pass is stamped, you can collect the processing fee payment and enjoy the airport lounge access benefits.
To get the most out of your airport lounge access card, it's better to know in advance which lounges you can use with your card. You can do this online, by phone, or through your HSBC relationship manager.
Has your flight been delayed, or do you have a long layover? Use your card to enjoy a comfortable waiting area, complimentary meal and other amenities available at the airport terminal.
If you're a frequent flier, use your credit card to visit the lounges at international airports. These lounges may offer unique facilities and services that aren't available in India.
